Goodreads Reading Challenge First Review of 2015

April 11, 2015 by Vicky 2 Comments

As we’re now well into April I thought it was time for the Goodreads Reading Challenge First Review of 2015.

Well I started off with such good intentions for this challenge and managed to read 7 books in January and February and then I seriously failed! This is due to my university studies taking up a lot of my free time and also generally putting me off reading more than I do already, but all the same I am missing reading books that I find interesting and choose!

7 Books Down!
7 Books Down!

I originally set myself the challenge of ready 45 books this year, this was the same amount that I challenged myself to read last year when I wasn’t studying and I couldn’t achieve it and so I decided to reduce my target to just 25 books this year which I believe will be more achievable as there will be a break between semesters and also I finish most of my undergraduate study at the end of November when I can sit down with a good book or 15! I will also have time to read on the 36ish hour flight to the UK for Christmas so that’s a good few books!

I am disappointed, although realistic, about having to amend my target and know that in about a years time I will be qualified and I can read all of the books I like which is good as my wish list is pretty much never ending.

How is everyone else getting along with their reading challenge? Have you read any great books I can add to my wish list!

I could socialise if You wanted

Last year I read 82 books, and this year I’m way ahead of schedule according to GoodReads! I read a lot, probably too much! But I could totally give you some recommendations! The Storyteller is on my to-read list, my mom gave it to me for my birthday! If you haven’t read Red Queen, that was fantastic, also In Real Life if you like comics!

I am impressed by the fact that you’ve even read 7! I love reading but never make the time…I’ve only read one book this year. 🙁 Way to go and keep reading!!
