I saw this post on the Love Leah blog and decided the questions were a lot of fun and I wanted to have a go.
Eat brussel sprouts or cauliflower cheese?
I like both a LOT but I am told by my family that when I was a toddler at my Grandparents I stole everyones brussel sprouts from their plates so they have to win!
Have twinkling lights or still lights?
Still lights. I don’t think I would like flashing lights.
Eat gingerbread or Ferrero Rocher?
Gingerbread all the way. We tried to find some gingerbread treats that my family have bought in the UK from Aldi but they either didn’t have any or they were sold out and I was a little bit gutted!
Open your Christmas presents with only immediate family or with all of your family members?
Only with my immediate family.
Cook Christmas dinner for the whole family or don’t eat Christmas dinner at all?
When I was at uni, my housemates and I would cook Christmas dinner every year before we all went home for Christmas and I really enjoyed it. Also my first Christmas in Australia I managed to cook a whole Christmas dinner on the BBQ so I feel like I would definitely enjoy cooking it for my family although my Mum makes the BEST roast and Christmas dinners.
Have a real Christmas tree or a fake Christmas tree?
I love a real Christmas tree but not very practical. You can also buy some nice fake trees so I don’t mind them,
Use blue, yellow, white or multi-coloured lights?
Multi-coloured. This year we have Christmas tree and reindeer shaped lights!
Eat mince pies or Christmas cake?
I would say mince pies but I had my first mince pie for this year yesterday and I didn’t enjoy them as much as usual (they were very sweet I found and I’m not used to eating such sweet things at the moment). It may be because they are different from the kind that I have in the UK, but I have a few more to sample and see if I really don’t like them or not!
Wake up at 6am or 10am?
Well I wake up at 5am for the gym and even on non gym days still wake up pretty early. This year we are picking our friends up at the airport about 5.30am on Christmas Day but I suspect that even if that wasn’t happening I would still be up by 6am.
Drink champagne or hot chocolate?
I don’t really drink alcohol very much at all these days and its a bit warm for chocolate in Brisbane. My boss gave me a bottle of champagne for Christmas so I plan to enjoy a drink or two of that.
Eat Heroes or Roses?
Can I say Celebrations instead!!!
Get a puppy for Christmas or a kitten for Christmas?
Puppy all the way! I miss my dog Henry and my family dogs a lot and would love for Henry to be here but its not very practical for him.
Watch Elf or Home Alone?
This one is easy! I love both films but Elf wins out.
Only be able to listen to Christmas songs all year round or never hear a Christmas song again?
All year round. I have had my Christmas play list on all over the place since the beginning of December; in the car, the shower and at the gym. I can remember all the words to far too many Christmas songs and not remember things I need every day!
Wake up bright and early and get all of the best boxing day sale goodies or stay warm and cosy in bed wearing your new Christmas pyjamas?
Wear Christmas pyjamas and do some online shopping!
